6 months?!?

It has been 6 months since my last post?!? That is bad. We have had a busy summer. We just had our friends come visit and go jeeping. We had so much fun with them and their cute kids! Oliver has an ear infection and is still spoiled. If I could get our laptop to work I would post some pictures. I will try to post again before March, another six months.

New family member

We have a new addition to our family. His name is Oliver and he is a chocolate lab, 1 year old. He is housebroken, but still a puppy and very hyper, but he is fun. Today is Mike's last day on his FTO training for patrol, so now he will be out on patrol on his own!!! We are both speaking in Sacrament meeting tomorrow on "getting the most out of our Sunday meetings." I am still busy at work. We are excited about Easter and having lots of visitors. Mike will be working and I will be driving our Jeep on trails. Go Duke!

Settled!!

I will get pictures on here soon. We have been very busy. Mike started doing patrol this week!!! He is enjoying being busy. I have been settled into my job now. We have made our first house payment!!! (First of many) We got moved in, thanks to Mikes family and mine. We are starting to enjoy our house now, fewer boxes, and enjoying the sunshine, and wind.

For Thanksgiving we ate at my Grandparents and had dessert with Mike's family. The day after, Mike, my dad and little brother all came down to Moab. We did Fins and Things at night, Hell's Revenge and Potato Salad Hill. It was a lot of fun. We can't wait for Easter Jeep Safari in April!!! Happy Holidays!!!

Waiting

For those of you who do not know . . . I PASSED my boards. I have been working in Moab since October 21st. We are still waiting on some stuff for the house and extending deadlines. Mike came to Moab this weekend for his birthday!!! We had so much fun. I almost ruined it by having 4 kidney stones. The largest of which is 7 mm. OUCH! Mike said I should name it "Big Bertha." We fished at Ken's Lake, ate at Moab Diner, Desert Bistro, and Moab Brewery. Mike is waiting to hear back on his applications. So we are both just waiting, for a house, stones, and a job.

Yeah!!! Our offer was accepted on the house in Moab! If all goes smoothly we will close by Thanksgiving. It has 4 bd 2 ba, LR, DR, FR, and mudroom on an acre. Lots of room for all our cars and projects. It is technically in Spanish Valley, which is out by Ken's Lake.

Test Date

I will be taking my boards on October 14 and 15th and start working in Moab on October 21st. We will be on the Deer Hunt October 17-20th and I will drive to Moab from there and Mike will drive back home.
Farewell dinner at 5 pm on Sunday October 5th at the Lion's Building in the Lindon City Park on State Street.
